How to improve reaction time

Improvement comes from short, consistent practice and fair tracking. Start with a reaction time test, then use this plan to improve week by week.

A simple 10‑minute daily plan

1) Baseline (Day 1)

Do 3–5 runs and record your average (not just your best).

2) Daily practice (Days 2–30)

  • 2 minutes warm‑up
  • 5 minutes reaction test repetitions
  • 3 minutes memory game variety (sequence/number)

Tips that move the needle

  • Sleep first: fatigue usually slows you down more than you think.
  • Same setup: switching phone ↔ desktop can change latency a lot.
  • Short sessions: stop before you get sloppy; quality beats volume.
  • Track weekly: look for steady improvement, not perfect days.
